help please, i have a wic, with the version that supports pppoe and pvc commands, it was working fine and able to get into and configure th vc-mode (atm-vc-if) commands , i did a reload and lost all vc mode commands , does anyone know how i can get this back, is it done bye commands or do i have to download something for it to come back, like i said it was able to do all before i did a reload, please anyones help wound be great?? thanks alot mic

Were you able to reload before and pertain the same commands?. Or have you just added these commands and this is the first time you reload after adding them?. In the second case, you may have forgot to save your config by copy run start. which means that you probably lost it unless you have a backup file on your flash or some thing.

right i did not copy run start ( dummy i am ). and lost it, but was able to do commands before reload, just trying to get vc mode and dsl commands back, someone said there is a reset button on the wic for loop back, Have you every heard of that ?? thanks mic

No, Although I'm not the expert in this but I don't think it's going to return your lost commands since the commands are stored in NV-RAM which has nothing to do with the WIC hardware.
The configuration register is set to 0x2102. Which is the correct default setting to load the router normally using flash and NV-RAM. It seams that your problem is really just a matter of bad luck that you forgot to copy run start.
I guess the only backup is your own memory. Good luck
