One of the problems being experienced is the receiving of switchboard calls on ephone-dn 2082 an 2086.The two ephones have direct lines but they end up having calls meant for the switchboard ending up there.Would anyone have an idea of how this cn be rectified.Any help will be appreciated.

Wimpsy,

According to your configuration, you've got 4 incoming ports (lines),
voice-port 2/0/1, voice-port 2/0/2, voice-port 3/0/3, voice-port 4/0/21

The first two voice ports send your incoming calls to extension 2001, while the 3rd voice port (voice-port 3/0/3) sends incoming calls to extension 2082 and the 4th voice-port (voice-port 4/0/21) to extension 2086.

You also mentioned that ext. 2082 and 2086 have direct lines, so I'm assuming that the 3rd and 4th voice port configuration is correct; Can you confirm this ?

In case it is correct, that means that calls directed to 2001 end up ringing on 2082 & 2086 (can you confirm ? ).

It would really help if you could provide your full configuration as it will give us a better idea of your setup.

Cheers,

Chris Partsenidis.
