port scan utility was created by Chojin
Hi all,
For some network protection (manually) I would like to scan a range of IP adressesn (lets say :192.168.1.0/24) but only on port 999.
Is there such a utility which can help me quickly on which host is infected by a trojan or whatever using this port? (ofcourse there is.. but just need to know which one would do for this purpose)
Thanks.

"Angry IP Scanner" can do it:
www.angryziber.com/w/Home
Click on [Tools] menu, then preferences, then specify a range of ports.
Also, "Scanarator" can do such thing: www.angelfire.com/tx5/jammer/scanarator.html

You can just do packet capture (wireshark or sniffer) and capture only port 999 traffic.
