Hi peeps, wondering if i could bounce a question of ya's.

My ADSL Router keeps rebooting itself with the following error:

[code:1]*** System received a SegV exception ***
signal= 0xb, code= 0x1200, context= 0x81e0dfe0
PC = 0x8030930c, Vector = 0x1200, SP = 0x824f3098[/code:1]

Now, what i am thinking is that i have put an image on the router that shouldn't be running on it (due to its memory capacity as its not got as much memory as some of the others). The version i am running is;

Cisco IOS Software, C837 Software (C837-K9O3SY6-M), Version 12.3(11)YS1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Now it has 46695K of memory (not the 64Kb version) and i seem to remember that there are different images for different sizes of memory.

Could anyone confirm this for me ? I am not 100% sure if its been happening since i bought it 2nd hand off ebay or not. I don't have a CCO anymore since leaving work so i cannot check myself (and i didn't take a backup of the image before updating it to do some VPN testing).

Cheers

Wayne
