Daily network outage

Daily network outage was created by aalguire
We have a problem where users experience network drive disconnect daily (Novell 6.5 and Cisco and Nortel Baystack network). Interesting aspect of this problem is that it occurs consistently starting at 4:30-4:45 every day and continues past 6PM (very few users on the network at 6PM). Otherwise the problem occurs rarely and sporadically. Packet capture analysis is inconclusive. We are seeing some CRC errors on one WAN link which we believe may be caused by duplex mismatches, otherwise no errors in the logs. There are no backup jobs or other events occuring at that time of day other than many users logging out. Problem also does not occur in the morning when users are logging in. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What drive(s) are disconnecting - are they on some internal server(s)? And are they mapped drives or UNC shared drives? Finally what network kit is between the users and the servers concerned?
