is it the U.S govt. or some other bodies cause I know ip addresses are being sold

I think the amount of money being directly made form the internet is insignificant to the amount being made because of it. Cisco, NIC manufacturers, firewall vendors all make millions equipping us to use it, and that's without even considering the people who sell every possible form of online content

when a shopping complex is built , marketers come to lease space to transact some among them make a million dollars a day depending on ur flexibility. but the owner of the complex collect a fix rate for leasing the space irrespective of ur performance . in the internet world who collects the lease money
