Hi there,
I am not familiar with your firewall or server however i seem to remember that in order for allowing PPTP you need to not only allow the PPTP Port (TCP 1723) but you also need to enable GRE (Protocol ID 47).
This is the only thing i can suggest because most people don't realise the GRE is also needed for PPTP connection.

Sorry Naz but I am not familiar with the firewall technology you have. Maybe someone else in this forum has experience in this firewall and will be able to help you out.
Cheers

hi smurf!
dont know why gre?? I think you need the other side to also set up gre for the tunnel to form, and to work!.
Try vpn remote access solution!. I also never worked with fortynet products, but I think they support it, simple need the vpn client access installed in each machine wishing to acces AX400.

Are you using the Fortigate as a PPTP server, or are you tunnelling to a PPTP server behind the firewall? This will make a big difference as to how to setup the Fortigate. By the way, the Fortigate will support both modes of operation.
