Hi all,
Does anyone have experiences with IPSec VPN failover solutions? We have a main office and 15 branch offices and are currently using single VPN connections over the Internet from the main office to each branch office in a hub-and-spoke (star) configuration.
All branch offices use cable for their Internet connection. Sometimes this connection goes down and thus their VPN connection. We would like to implement an IPSec VPN failover solution while keeping cable as the main connection and using a (cheaper) DSL connection as backup.
Currently we have looked at Cisco and CheckPoint equipment. Both parties offer routers with VPN failover capabilities. However, I would like to know if anyone has (first-hand) experience with VPN failover solutions? Thanks in advance!
