Problem in using Cisco 3560G switch as a WAN link was created by vkb
I am trying to connect two remote office [220km apart] by linking them using 5 Cisco 3560G switch. I am using fibre as the backbone link. Below is the setup
2811 router ---3560G---3560G----3560G----3560G----3560G----3560G---2811 router.
The problem im facing is that the router cannot establish a link to the switch, eventhough looping back the fibre that connects to the switch, the router was able to recognise that loop. I have done the necessary fault finding and eliminate the fibre as the problem.
Im using the switch as a form of repeater as the SFP module is limited to only 70km.
Im a novice to this and appreciate if someone could assist me in solving this problem OR point me to the right direction.

VKB
