Hi there,

I am afraid i know nowthing about MAXTNT, however we did have an issue with our Cisco Routers that were connecting to our central Cisco Routers on ISDN. This was an issue with the routers not raising the second channel.

Just a thought but i'm afraid that is as far as my current expertise can take this. Maybe someone else will have some other thoughts if you have confirmed that both channels are coming up.

i sort out the prob.Ethernet cable from Maxtnt to switch was creating problems :) changed with a new one and problem got solved.
On cisco router "dialer load-threshold" value determines when do u want 2nd channel to come up (as per need basis).Put its value 1 and 2nd channel will instantly comes up with a very small network traffic at BRI interface.
I guess u already wht i m talking about .But if still the problem persists ,u have to check your BRI line voltage ,it must b above 98 volts (100 V is excellent). anything below tht and you'll have channel dropping problems.

Hope it helps

:) Cheers fella, didn't know about the voltage. The problem we had with the Cisco Routers was that it never raised the second channel. The issue was the old version of the IOS we was running which had a bug in it (the IOS hadn't been changed since we bought them in around 1998)

Cheers for the Info
