Hi everyone, first post here, looking for info on reconfiguring a Cisco Cat. 3750, it was part of a stack but is now being setup standalone, the problem I have is with the port identification, after setting system back to factory defaults it is still showing ports as 2/0/1, 2/0/2 and so on, any thoughts or soloutions???

According to the manual you use the command
    no switch <stack-member-number> provision
to remove the switch from the stack. You might need to physically put the switch back into the stack then run the command, not sure as I've never actually done it. The alternative, which will also probably work, is to copy the running config off, edit it to remove the stack numbering on each port then copy it back

Thanks Bishop, that worked a treat, was able to do it stand alone, didn't have to add the switch back into the stack.

Good job. :D
