I have a Cisco 2600 series router that has no flash image. It must have been erased. Does anyone out there have a basic image i can load on my router to get it up and running?
Thanks in advanced

hi flack123,
i would like to ask if you were able to find the IOS of your router 2600? If you do, what version is it? I am also having a problem with my router 2600, its IOS has been erased and my version is 12.0
Thanks.

There is a program out there called IOS hunter. It scans FTP sites for cisco IOS software. THe free version will let you d/l some but most of the D/L wont be available.
The best way to do it is get smart net on the router from cisco. You can d/l the newer IOS and if there is a problem with the hardware they will help support it and send more hardware if needed.
