Tom,
You guys use to use token ring ?
In my 7-8 years experience i have never come across a token ring network!!!
Actually you reminded me of last week, where I went to ebay, looking for a Pix 501 and Catalyst 3550 and found the catalyst with a price of 170 pounds, which I though was to good to believe, so I calmed down and started reading the description carefully before I hit the "Buy Now" button..... only to find that it was actually a token ring switch!
What a bummer!!!

If you look at my diagram, you will see that the routers are token ring routers and that I am on rings (you will see the term dirty ring).
We were on Token ring for many years. I have a token ring setup in my Garage. When we converted our system over to Ethernet, I did the same here (My system at home was also token ring). I have the Mau and a whole bunch of Token Ring NICs.

OH you poor disadvantaged people.
You missed all the Token Ring vs Ethernet wars. Now those were the days.
Sahirh is right, Chris. Your signature formatting is off.

Hahaha ... TFS, I actually feel privileged for not working with Token ring
Thanks for the note with the signature.... it certainly shows I've been doing some dirty work in the background

Gee, Chris,
You feel priviledged about NOT working on Token Ring?
I actually like being involved in both. I guess you missed the old msdos and cpm days, also.
More is the Pity.
