its not exactly networking..but

can anyone of you good fellows tell me why my son cant hear me on webcam..video is fine,and I can hear him,but its a sort of half duplex audio..any comments on this would be appreciated..cheers

Which program are you using for this? Maybe it's your microphone, is it functioning properly?

I agree with jwj. It sounds as if either your mic isn't working, or some settings need to be changed in the audio control panel.

Is your son using speakers on the computer, or a headset. If it is a headset, make sure both leads are plugged into the PC. If it is speakers, check that the PC audio settings are setup for speakers and not something else.
