Could you specify where you get the errors. What condition brings it on, and what is the exact message.
Cheers,

I'm get W32time errors in the system event log...
Which in turn causes all kinds of other problems.. its happening to a few different servers and I'm not sure why..
Event ID: 29
Source: W32time
Type: Error
The time provider NtpClient is configured to acquire time from one or more time sources. However, none of the sources are currently accessible. No attempt to contact a source will be made for 15 minutes. NtpClient has no source of accurate time.
Let me remind you that this is a big network ( about 60 servers, 15-20 DC's).. Its a QA lab so Its supposed to be mimmiking production.. however they are not experiencing these errors there..
Its running in mixed mode.. w2k3 server and NT4.0.... This error will start.. I'll do a net time /set and set it.. but it will happen again later.. I'm lost..

Do you have NTP enabled on your router (I'm assuming its cisco).
I think the command was 'NTP server' but you'll have to double check that..
Where else do you get time from ?

As this is a large gov org I am not aloud to go near the routers.. I am the systems admin for the lab network only.. Any switches and routhers are configed by the switches and router people.. But what I need to know is this a problem they should be called in for?
I went to my root server.. in the root domain.. and did a
net time /sntpquery and I got a router IP address back..
But what does Net time have to do W32time? I understand they perfrom similar functions but do they depend on each other at all?
And yes the switches are cisco.. 3200 series? I think..
I appreciate any help you can give me..

Looks like your systems are trying to get time from the routers.. but the routers are refusing to give them time for some reason or the other..
