hi,
is this something you have to do yourself manually to get something to work, or is it that after connecting via dialup you find your system time has changed? if its the latter, then by how much does your system time change to (i.e. how many minutes or hours does it go backwards or forwards)?

hi,
does that only happen when you connect to the internet?
try and monitor your pc without connecting to the internet. if the problem persists we are looking at a weak BIOS battery issue here. if time doesn't change abruptly when you are online, then we are looking at a spyware or a malware which access the internet when you go online, and invokes some process that changes your system time by synchronising it with some weird time zone which is not yours.
do let us know

these are of no good, try some online scanning for instance from ewido i.e
www.ewido.net
carry out the online scan. also check in your time and date settings if you have enabled internet updates for time i.e. autimatically update time from some time server. and make sure you have the right time zone setup.
