Most of the linux world (server or client) is GUI based. If what they're saying is true, they would be in hell due to their sins I guess

i know theoretically when you strip the gui , it makes the OS lighter and even more secure. but the insecurity is negligible as compared to benefits of the GUI.

I really wonder if the "new crowd" of Linux users that grew up with the pretty GUIs and intuitive control options Microsoft has implemented on all of its products are more inclined than the older crowd Linux users from installing a GUI on a server...
