Hi,

are there softwares that can measure a certain application the total bandwidth it uses?

a good example would be like.. when using Video Conferencing in skype, how am i able to measure the total bandwith it eats?

Are you wanting to do this just on your own PC or across the enterprise? If it was my own PC I'd just use one of the many tools that will graph your internet usage. Start up skype when little or nothing else is running, check the graph and you'll have a pretty good idea. Across the enterprise you could use a well-placed RMON probe to list the top talkers and protocol distribution

I'm using PRTG Network Monitor. The free version does enough for a home user

with this, im able to see the total bandwidth of my localhost?

can i also view the bandwidth it uses per application? like skype?
