Is it wise to do ccna and mcsa together?

Depends what you mean by 'together'. If you mean 'at the same time' then you'd need to be very focussed as the workload required would be considerable unless you're a genius

Thanks for replying to my question. I jsut was not sure in whether the work load might be too much for me. Can you tell me what certifications you have?

Actually none! But I've been working in networking for over 15 years. It's not the same now though, now you really need a couple of Certs to get you up the first rungs of the ladder. One of these days I really must get round to doing them...

Well, already having my MCSA and currently working on my CCNA I can say this:

Wow!

I thought I was pretty smart until I started reading CCNA books.

what i personally feel is when you learn a topic, try to gain as much knowledge as possible and move to next topic gradually. But if you want to go for cert try to do it 1 cert at a time so that you dont have towaste your time and money. slow( means concentrating more on the concepts and also try to get the core of it) and study wins the race :)

good luck studing
