If its a small LAN network, and will remain small in near future....
Go for Cisco PIX (PIX505E, /PIX515).

Those models are end of life and are incredibly old. I wouldn't recommend either I would also say this is a ford/chevy question. What is "best" is subjective what do you need to do with this firewall what features are you after?

Bang for your buck is probably what your looking for then. Doesn't need to be high end enterprise class but something for a small office.
I'd recommend a Sonicwall TZ210 for a small business. You can do site to site vpns, client vpns, content filtering, wireless, Intrusion protection, gateway anti virus, and bla bla bla.
For the high end stuff i'd go with a Cisco or a Juniper product.
