hi to all,
could you give some suggestions so i could be able to block any laptop or any unwanted device be connected to the network? let us say in a server 2003 domain.

The only real way to do this at the network level is by using NAC (Network Access Control). This can stop the client getting on the network unless the client is authorised (at the network layer).

Fair point, would depend on the size of the network as the administrative overhead would be a nightmare

True... depending on how often people plug into the network. There a a great deal of unknown variables.
