Whats more, the command "switchport native vlan <vlan id>" defines the default vlan for that port. This vlan id can be any vlan. not necessarily vlan 0 or vlan 1.
In other words each trunk port can have it's own default vlan!!

Yes, the native vlan is used if a vlan id isn't specified in the frames. It helps to support devices that dont understand vlan's

Well does the question or the context imply any thing about using a Cisco switch, Dlink switch or what ever. If it's Cisco, then most probably the answer is false as we've shown above. However, I still think the question is vague as TheBishop noted that VLAN 0 could be misnamed for VLAN 1 (Or vise versa).

Netsamauri,
VLAN0 is used for when you need to mark traffic with CoS markings with 802.1p , but you don't want it to tag it's traffic in a VLAN with 802.1q. The 802.1q field is left at zero, indicating to the switch to put it into the default VLAN, but still use it's CoS. Remember: 802.1q and 802.1p come together. You can't have one but not another. Hope that makes things clearer!

I would pick false but thats just me. It's asking for a VLAN on a SWITCH and as you just seen it starts at 1 not 0 on a switch. I always try to assume that questions are "technically correct" and are specific in their wording because otherwise your second guessing yourself.
